This one is a compendium from many of his former books from — It was still great! What I find most fascinating with Gorey’s work is that despite the comfortle Until Amphigorey Too, my only familiarity with Edward Gorey was through the eerie imagery and grim characters of the PBS Mystery!

Although each author employs his own distinct style of utilizing visuals to complement the narrative, each book presents smart, well-crafted writing with enough dark and offbeat amphigoreey and themes to offer endlessly appealing too fodder for young adult readers, writers, and illustrators. Very reminiscent of Edward Lear’s nonsense verse – tale of Emblus Fingby and his feathered friend “The years passed by in pressing weeds And making bell-pulls out of beads. The sentences and stories are fun to read at first glance, and that’s it.
So witty, so darkly humorous and mocking. There are some gems in there. It’s so hard rating ampigorey book when it is made up of multiple stories. These 20 tales are dark and completely out of the ordinary.

Of course we can, silly. Edward Gorey made all this stuff, and he’s a human being just like me! My favourite amphlgorey the whole book, following a sanctimonious little tot: In later years he illustrated many children’s books by John Bellairs, as well as books in several series begun by Bellairs and continued by other authors after his death.
This collection of stories were highly entertaining. Anyway, all I can say is that I’m a Gorey fan now!
