To save hvonne soul? No trivia or quizzes yet. Now Dante is on the run and the Gottfried Academy has closed its gates to everyone except for the Undead.

But to the actual review part. Overall, it was a good read for me.

Life Eternal (Dead Beautiful, book 2) by Yvonne Woon

I was really excited to read this one as it’s not out till February next year in the US and it doesn’t have a UK release date yet!

I will become an Undead now.

Dante is just as tragic as in the first book, but a much warmer person Life Eternal is the second Dead Beautiful book, and miles better than the first.

Did I mention that Noah happens to be the boyfriend of Renee’s latest rival, Clementine?

While I was reluctant to start Dead Beautiful – I really liked it in the end! There’s an acknowledgment here that this is a high school relationship and that they really have not spent enough time together or talked about their pasts enough to have a healthy, trusting relationship.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. They planted themselves inside of you and expanded, until you felt like that was teernal you were-a lonely little secret, isolated in your experiences. Now, her separation from Dante becomes almost unbearable. After the happenings in Dead Beautiful her old schools closes and she has to attend to a new school in Montreal that is only for Monitors and not for the Undead.

Both mysteries, I should say – the mystery of the Nine Sisters and the mystery of Dante. While reading these parts, I wanted to shake her and say, “Helleew Renee! I wasn’t actually yonne if I wanted to read this book.

There’s also a new guy, Noah, to complicate things for Renee and put her relationship with Dante to the test. I found myself being drawn into her world yet again. It’s something to look forward to. Oct 20, Jessica rated it really liked it. I love this book. Second book in the series Life Eternal did not disappoint me either. A lot has happened since then – she lost her parents and she found out that she is a Monitor whose job is to bury the harmful Undead.

Noah, as I recall, is in some sort of relationship with Clementine, who is like the queen bee of the school. Here the author creates one last twist that the audience will not expect leaving them breathless and wanting more. I really liked Noah, he seemed like a really nice boy and if Dante wasn’t in the picture I could really picture him and Renee together.

The one thing that bothered me was that Renee trusted her new friends too quickly and shared sensitive information with them too readily, but that was pretty much necessary to get the plot moving. I for one don’t like these reminders. Renee is desperate to find a way for her and her soul-mate Dante to be together, but as she starts to unravel the mystery that may yfonne them both she puts her life in danger.

Life Eternal

Books by Yvonne Woon. For example, in the first chapter, you learn that her grandfather has been reading all her mail.

This book was amazing. I felt the mystery was well done here, too. I thought she was so much more real a character, despite the paranormal aspects to the story. View all 7 comments.
